Magen serves as the Clinical Supervisor and Lead Therapist at Cognitive Hygiene Advanced Therapy, where she oversees clinical programming, provides guidance to the treatment team, and supports the delivery of high-quality therapeutic services to youth and families.
She holds a Bachelors degree in Human Development and Family Science from The Ohio State University and a Masters in Social Work from Miami University. Magen is dually licensed to practice in the state of Ohio as an LISW and in Georgia as an LCSW.
The majority of her clinical experience has focused on providing mental health treatment for children and families. Through building her private practice, she has also gained valuable experience working with adults, which has expanded her clinical insight across the lifespan.
What Magen appreciates most about being a Licensed Independent Social Worker is the flexibility it provides. While much of her background is in clinical treatment, she is also able to support clients and families from a comprehensive perspective by connecting them to community resources, enhancing care coordination, and promoting long-term wellness.
